Hello, I’m May from Thailand.
I grew up in a wealthy family and my parents gave me everything I wanted, except freedom. My mom watched my every move and when she couldn't do it herself, she employed someone to do it. I'm not even kidding guys.
When I was 17, I came home from school to find the house full of guests. Uniformed servers were busy loading tables with all kinds of food.
"Mom, what's going on?"
“May, darling, come sit next to your father and I.”
Sitting across from mom was a scrawny-looking boy around the same age as me.
"May, the king and queen are here to ask for your hand in marriage. This is their son, your future husband!"
I burst out laughing but stopped when I realized that no one else was laughing with me.
"Wait, you're serious?"
"Yes, now say hello and behave yourself."
I shot from my seat and grabbed the table.
“I will flip this table over mama!"
