“Please give that back!” Nina screamed.
“Not until you do what I asked!” I replied.
“I don’t want to.”
I opened her pencil case and broke everything that was inside. I snapped every single pen and pencil in two. My friends cheered and laughed while Nina looked like she wanted to cry. When I was done I pushed it all off my desk and onto the floor.
Nina rushed to pick up her broken things and I tapped her on the forehead with my shoe.
Anyway, like I was saying, I was pretty much a terrible person. I only picked on the kids who looked different from me. If they were poor, that made it worse. I thought that poor people were so gross. I considered myself to be better than everyone else – especially the foreign kids.
