Lee Webster has been on the frontlines of funeral reform advocacy for many years. She has worked in all areas of end of life and after death care and has been passionate about a return to the natural ways we used to care for the dead- in the home and in the community. In this spotlight episode, Eliza picks Lee’s brain about hospice, funerals, and cemeteries from her developing lens and role of social worker. Lee shares her experiences in caring for the body of a loved one, of being truly present to the sensual bond that helps make meaning of our loved one’s death, and softens our grief experience.
