Description

Some change has no choice but to be cataclysmic. Is that true? Or are we just in the habit of responding to change in an aggressive way? (Because it’s easier to take action from anger and being fed up.) Can we choose a gentler/slower shifting into change that is both spurred from and committed to thoughtful and honest reflection?

This is what we’re exploring in Ep. 9. Along with the following questions:

  1. How do you identify the need for genuine change?
  2. Do you identify it or does it identify you? And how/what does that look/feel like?
  3. Provocation...what provokes shifts and changes?
  4. What is dissatisfaction?
  5. How do we know which is which and what change requires what from us?
  6. WHY is it important to consider our MOTIVATION for change and how does that support our choice-making and change journey?

And the BIG QUESTION: Are we moving from HABIT or DEVELOPMENTAL POTENCY?

In this conversation, we’re excited to introduce you to one of the movement community’s greatest icons and assets, Master Pilates Teacher, teacher training, and mentor, Debora Kolwey. Debora was the co-founder of the Thinking Pilates Podcast with Chantill (2015 - 2021) and is a lifelong explorer of the body, movement, meditation and the Shambhala lineage of Buddhism.
