Another phenomenal weekend of racing this week with both the Caulfield Cup and the Everest taking place. Lots of exciting horses to discuss - Nature Strip and Jacquinot in the Everest and Smokin' Romans and Gold Trip in the Caulfield Cup. As well as looking at the fields and discussing the form, Grace and Fi focus in on each of these races. With the Everest, we discuss how the race operates, how horses take their place and why the richest race in Australia doesn't carry any black type. Heading down to Caulfield and very wet conditions, we focus in on how our form tactics need to change to take a heavy track into consideration. More specifically what parts of a horses form profile become more important with these types of conditions.
