Description

Hey there! It is week 3 of Fi’s interview series and in this episode she tackled a topic close to her heart in Equine Welfare. To chat about post racing welfare specifically, Fi interviews Jen Krawcyzk former General Manager of Equine Welfare at Racing Victoria. During her time at Racing Victoria Jen and her team came up with the current framework designed to find the right home for every horse leaving the Victorian racing industry. Jen explains how this framework operates and also talks about the Racing Victoria Onsite Humane Euthanasia Program which is available to all horses associated with the Victorian Thoroughbred industry. This is a fascinating episode which shines a light on just how much work is being done in the welfare space.
