Twilight, Chapter 7: Nightmare - Bella blasts Phil's favorite beats on repeat until she falls asleep and dreams of Mike, Jacob and Edward. Startled, she wakes up and asks Jeeves, "vampire." She scours the internet and Vampires A-Z for more information and legends about vampires. Overwhelmed with embarrassment, she takes a walk in the woods to mull over her options. The Cullens are no shows at school early in the week and Bella decides to join the other girls for a shopping trip in Port Angeles.
