From director Michael Dougherty, creates a holiday horror movie in the same vein as his Halloween film Trick or Treat. Aiming to restore respect towards the Holiday, Dougherty adapted the ancient Germanic tale of Krampus to the modern age. The film, while respecting the lore, brings to life the age old demon to bring horror into the festive season.
