On his directorial debut, Valdimar Jóhannsson paints the picture of rural Icelandic life. However, our main characters of Maria and Ingvar find a troubling discovery in their barn – a humanoid baby lamb. Deciding to care for it as their own, they will soon be stalked by a malicious force bend on ripping their new child from their arms.
