Welcome to another episode of Cinedicate. This week's exploration into Arthouse is the 2000 thriller, Memento. To unpack this film, Joey Hunt returns to discuss why this film is not only a great film, stylistically, but also why this is a stronger film in this director's filmography.
From filmmaker Christopher Nolan, his directorial debut follows Leonard (Guy Pierce) as he is hunting down his wife's killer. However, his journey is made increasingly difficult as he suffers from a rare from of short-term memory loss. Resorting to writing down crucial pieces of information, Leonard must uncover the truth while avoiding those who will take advantage of his condition.
