I had the opportunity to sit down with attorney Carlos Gonzalez Cassis in a frank discussion about how real economies work, becoming more “open source” in transparency, and creating a legacy that benefits Latin family businesses. Mr. Cassis invites us in this conversation to see the big picture by presenting three success stories of Latin family enterprises, what he learnt from a two year old while on vacation and how these founders made courageous decisions even during times of invasion as one’s country is personal capital. As Carlos brings his negotiation skills to Latin family businesses, he hopes to elevate them to dream, feel and think with their full imagination. In terms of his personal legacy, he believes this word is important because developing one’s full potential means embracing ambition, even by daring to think about all the possibilities.
