Having grown up between England, France and the US, Cléo Schurrer moved to Perth at the age of 18 and got a job in luxury real estate.
After a couple of years doing that, she realised a life without art was no life for her, quit the job, and set about immersing herself in the arts scene, starting out as a door girl at The Ellington Jazz Club and all rounder at Perth Symphony Orchestra, and going on to become Program Director of The Ellington Jazz Club for almost eight years.
In recent years she has produced a fair few shows and events, including a six time sell out variety show, the poignant and well-received show Emotion, multiple pop-up jazz and rock shows at Yagan Square Amphitheatre. All of her work highlights and amplifies the incredible talent in Western Australia.
