Winner of Mx Burlesque Western Australia 2017, Veruca Sour has performed all over Australia and Singapore as a part of The Perth International Burlesque Festival, The Australian Burlesque Festival, The Burlesque Cruise, The Bombshell Burlesque Showgirl Exchange, Fringe World Festival and regional Fringes. She teaches and performs with Perth’s premier neo-cabaret troupe Sugar Blue Burlesque and is co-producer and media manager for the multi award-winning queer collective BurLEZque, which took out the Cabaret Weekly Award and Perth Now Critic’s Choice Weekly Award for Pillow Talk: Back in the Sack at Fringe World 2022. She regularly performs alongside live jazz musicians with the critically acclaimed Perth Cabaret Collective, headlined Jazida Productions’ Decadence and Debauchery in Canberra this year and starred as Magenta in ARTRAGE’s sell-out Rocky Horror Immersive at Girls School.
