This was an epic conversation with Corin, he’s had such an interesting health journey AND he’s filled with incredible wisdom! He’s passionate about sharing maca with New Zealand after it literally changed his own life.

- Corin’s journey which started with his chronic fatigue and depression.pHD in medicinal chemistry. He reached what we traditionally define as ’success’ but felt empty and on a chance holiday to Peru - met Sally and she gave him maca. Noticed incredible benefits to how de felt after just 4-6 weeks of taking the maca. He truly felt connected to the plant medicine and connected to mother earth. Went home and quit his job and moved to Peru!
- We talk about the energetics, the science and the sacredness of Maca. Where it comes from, (did you know it’s like a turnip!?), how it grow and how it’s prepared. There are some incredible biochemicals that are only found in maca - macamides.
- Indigenous cultures and how they followed the same philosophy to look after the earth. Thinking of plant as gifts which brings more gratitude and respect in. How incredible are plants!?
- How we can change the world by using our dollars to vote! We need to be conscious of the businesses we choose to support.
- The incredible work that Selenohealth has done for the community that grows their maca - by cutting out the middle man they can bring much more money directly to the community that grows the maca. They work directly with the farmers and the families that provide their maca.
- Corin uses Qi gong, ceremony, maca and mindfulness to stay connected, and present.
