Description

Ewan turned 27 last week, and to celebrate he invited everyone to a private screening of one of his favourite movies at the Tyneside Cinema - John Woo's 1993 Hollywood debut, Hard Target. A glorious team-up between a peak Jean-Claude Van Damme and one of the greatest action filmmakers of all time, Hard Target is one of the very best films of 1993 and of the action genre more generally, and is near enough peerless Dad Cinema. Join Ewan and Zan as they discuss last weekend's festivities, the joy of seeing Hard Target on the big screen, and why film peaked with Wilford Brimley flinging arrows at Arnold Vosloo in the bayou.
