Mike Powell is a retired LAPD Officer and a current member of the International Homicide Investigators Association, where he holds IHIA/FBI/DOJ certificates in Basic Homicide Investigations, Advanced Homicide/Violent Crimes Investigation, and Cold Case/No Body Homicide Investigation/Prosecution. Powell has written screenplays for HBO-NY and Paramount Pictures. He is a Writer’s Guild of America East, Screenwriting Fellowship Award winner and a Universal Pictures Hispanic Screen Writing Award winner.
