To make my child his very first egg cream, this is what I did:

• Combine 1 cup creamy oat milk with a generous amount of chocolate syrup. You want this chocolate milk you are making to be very dark. Stir that up well.
• Top off the glass with seltzer water, and stir one more time to combine.
