The last one of 2023 and it's a cracker, with the fantastic MC Tunes, what a life!
Nicky Lockett AKA MC Tunes has been through the ringer, he's cheated death multiple times and the music industry has cheated him just as much!
The Manchester rapper has worked with 808 State and A Guy Called Gerald and more recently guested on Shed Project's 'One Shot'
He fronted Dust Junkeys and his solo album 'Damage by Stereo' originally recorded in 1991 was finally released in 2015 on Peter Hook's Hacienda Records
With sheer determination and a will to succeed he has picked himself up again and again and he's here today to tell the tale, this was probably one of my most enjoyable episodes to record, a genuine top bloke with so much energy, i know you're all gonna love this!!!
