Postcard #76 strays from the usual format of the show. Still lots of fine music by some great bands. A march by someone I thought was a Yorkshireman with links closer to home and a birth date which is possibly in doubt. A fantastic piece by a composer born in the North West, a personal favourite of mine by the "arranger's arranger", and we say farewell to a composer whose work you'll know very well - if you've ever watched film or TV.
