“Change is inevitable, growth is optional!”
This is a principle that all good leaders hold dear to their hearts. They do not live in fear of change taking place because they are sure that eventually, it is going to come. They focus on creating teams that can grow, adapt and thrive in their new environment.
However, for a leader to achieve that, they must also be open to growing as individuals by being receptive to new ideas. In industries such as manufacturing, passionate and growth-oriented leaders can help organizations remain highly competitive.
Today, I’m joined by Alex Alvarez, Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Director of ESG for Brown-Forman. He is responsible for developing and implementing an integrated ESG (environmental, social, & governance) strategy that ensures Brown-Forman’s growth ambitions are environmentally and socially sustainable.
