Gone are the days when a company could just design a logo and a campaign poster, send them to media outlets, and claim they are good at marketing themselves. Even individuals can’t just write a CV listing where they’ve worked and claim it as a personal brand.

Social media has completely transformed how we brand and market ourselves as well as our businesses. We now have billions of people on the most popular social media platforms who are ready to engage, criticize, compliment, emulate, or even buy. Basically, the audience is there, but we also have millions of brands fighting for their attention.

Today I’m joined by my good friend and author of several social marketing books, Allison Lewis. She helps companies, as well as influencers, get the attention and trust of the right audience.
