Sébastien Pluot is an art historian, researcher, and exhibition curator, co-director of Art by Translation (ESAD TALM, ENSAPC). He has curated numerous exhibitions and conferences on the works of Alison Knowles, Mel Bochner, and Christopher D’Arcangelo, as well as group exhibitions such as "Art by Telephone Recalled", "Time Capsules 2045", "The Intolerable Straight Line", "Dernières nouvelles de l’Ether", "Une lettre arrive toujours à destination", "Double Bind, Arrêtez d’essayer de me comprendre". He has taught as a guest professor at Barnard College, CalArts, CUNY, Terra Foundation Summer Residency, SFAI, Sorbonne Université, and has organized and presented lectures at Columbia University, University of Florida, NYU, Princeton University, RedCat, LACMA, Centre Georges Pompidou, Jeu de Paume, INHA, HEAD, etc.
