Phil Rose, together with his wife Chris, founded the Wairau River Winery. It all started in 1978 when they decided to plant grapes along the banks of the Wairau River in the northern part of the South Island of New Zealand, better known as the Marlborough region, which is famous for its sauvignon blanc.
Phil discusses his journey, hardships, and the beginnings of the Wairau River Winery.
