That is, until a chance discovery in a reclamation bin upends their lives and puts them--and the entire barrique--in danger.
About the author: Grant Carrington has had about 40 stories published in sf, literary, and men’s magazines. His sf novel Time’s Fool was published by Doubleday in 1981 and reprinted by Brief Candle Press in 2015, which also published the novel Down in the Barraque in 2016 and the collection Annapolis to Andromeda, which includes the 1976 Nebula novelette finalist, which was originally published in Amazing, in 2015. He attended the 1968 and 1969 Clarion Workshops and the 1971 Tulane Workshop and was associate editor at Amazing/Fantastic from 1971 to 1974.
His degrees are in math (NYU, Univ. of Fla.) and he has worked as a computer programmer at Goddard Space Flight Center and the Savannah River Ecology Lab, among others.
He has worked with the Champlain Shakespeare Festival and American Light Opera Company among many other theatre groups, as actor and lighting tech, and had 5 plays given full productions in Baltimore.
Currently retired, he performs as a singer-songwriter in the Northeast. His CDs, Songs Without Wisdom and Ancient Laughter, are available at CDBaby.com.
