Ethics and History and The Murder of Abp. Sharp

I don't know whether this is an ethics podcast or a history podcast - or a bit of both!  It's asking whether it is ever right for Christians to retaliate, even when under severe circumstances.  It examines the conditions surrounding the heinous murder of Archbishop James Sharp, near Ceres, Fife, in 1679.  It was a crime committed by supporters of the Covenanting cause, - but roundly condemned by Presbyterian leaders.  But when you consider the cruelty of the times, and the oppressive nature of Sharp and his acolytes, - didn't he deserve all he got?

Confusing ethical questions, and I don't have too many answers - all I ask is that YOU BE THE JUDGE!
