Description

Sara is a mother, community builder, poet, facilitator, and friend. She is a minimalist who strives to generate more joy and impact by simplifying the complex, anchoring in shared values, and homing in on what is most important: people.

Her professional background spans strategic operations in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. She has previously served on the board of directors for Muslims for Progressive Values and on the steering committee for MASGD: Muslim Alliance for Sexual & Gender Diversity.

At 25, Sara celebrated her first year of marriage, mourned the death of her maternal grandparents, became an aunt, transitioned from working in the education sector to corporate, wrapped up a year of intense therapy and was accepted into business school.

It was definitely a lot. But Sara embraces the wisdom she has gained not only from her lived experiences but from her ancestors and community. Trust me, this conversation is fun, thought-provoking, and feels like a warm embrace.
