In this episode Gary Mansfield speaks to Art Historian Michael Peppiatt (@drmichaelpeppiatt)   Michael Peppiatt has become internationally respected as an expert in 20th Century art since first joining the Observer newspaper in 1964 as Junior Art Critic. He was friends with and biographer to Francis Bacon, writing extensively about many areas of his life and practice.   Recently Michael has curated an exhibition at Ben Brown Fine Arts in London, featuring the work of Frank Auerbach & Tony Bevan; titled What is a Head?
