Our guest for Season 3 Episode 5 of the GAA Minor Moments podcast with Electric Ireland is Dublin’s Alan Brogan – winner of 3 All-Irelands and a Footballer of the Year award.
Alan candidly shared his reflections on his Minor days and the pivotal moments that shaped his journey to a Footballer of The Year title in 2011. Alan, who played for the Dublin Minor team from 1999-2000, fondly recalls winning the Leinster Minor final in 1999.
Brogan also emphasises the importance of these early experiences in elite sport, noting how they set the stage for his subsequent success.
Every Tuesday well known Irish stars will share memories from their early sporting careers and reflect on the defining moments from playing Minor and how that shaped them both on and off the pitch.
