Description

in today’s episode we tackle the very large topic of misogynoir, a termed coined by Moya Bailey to describe the specific form of oppression that black women face. this is a very nuanced concept, and we attempt to touch on questions like; why aren’t black women included in discourse around black liberation? why are we so uncomfortable with acknowledging the harm done by black men to black women, and who will protect us under an abolitionist framework? how do white women work against us, everyday?
