Description

Katy Fairley is an independent consultant focusing on improving project delivery for public and private owners by defining strategies, best practices and risk mitigation for delivery models, contracts and procurement. She believes these three areas are at the heart of improving the building process for owners and construction firms alike.

Prior to founding Fairley Strategies, Katy was Vice-President, Business Development for a diversified general contractor and construction manager in southern BC. She has served on the Boards for three industry associations including the Canadian Construction Association, in addition to serving on numerous taskforces and committees.

Before entering the construction industry, Katy worked for the Legislative Assembly of BC and graduated from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick with a double major in international relations and political science.
