In Mexico City, in 2003, serial killers were an anomaly. You could even say they were a problem for the people of the United States more than anywhere else. But when more than a dozen elderly women are discovered strangled to death in their homes, the Mexican authorities are forced to wrestle with their misapprehensions about how to profile a serial killer.
