AUTOMATION
Automation originated in 1996 in Western Sydney and contributed to the Sydney Metal scene as Sydney’s most brutal act until 1999. A 24 year hiatus from the industry was broken in 2023 with a striking return at the Drencher metal festival in Geelong in August with a new lead guitarist. The Sydney drought was broken at the Ram it Down January 2024 edition which brought about the return of original guitarist Michael kordek who returned on Simo’s harbour cruise metal festival on May 25th. The original crew of Paul Neville, Brad Dickson, Michael Kordek and Grahame Goode are back in full force and looking to produce new old school death metal for the first time in a quarter of a century in 2025.
