Description

It seems a mother’s brain is always swirling with tasks and to-do lists galore. I know my brain seems to always be active and I have a hard time switching it off and truly being present. This episode features Venessa Almond who shares her journey with yoga and how it helped her mental health as a busy mom.

Venessa recently left the corporate world as her family moved from Australia to New Zealand. She has been using this time as an opportunity to teach yoga full time and focus on mental health and wellbeing for busy women. She also teaches in-person classes in Auckland with a focus on bringing movement, music and community together. Venessa aims to bring her own experience with postnatal depression and corporate burnout to help other women who might be struggling and need support.
