We did this exercise that generates individualized mantras:::

Write down one of these two questions on a piece of paper:

1: What is this feeling trying to teach me?

2: What can I do today that I will be grateful for tomorrow?

Close eyes, take three breaths

Open eyes, look at the paper and FREE WRITE, or stream of consciousness write.  Put it all down on the paper, let it tumble out.  

Then review what we wrote and underline or highlight anything that gives us a sense of 

PEACE, EASE, CLARITY or TRUTH

Now, we have a bunch of cool words that we can find the over-arching theme of and build a mantra from.
