Description

Great news listener! We have discovered a new kind of rock.

Last week there were believed to be only three kinds of rock (igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic) but during the recording of this week's episode we stumbled upon a curious and as yet undiscovered kind of rock, the hammer-ignisedimorphic.

This rock can be quite hard to spot in the wild, and the only real way to know you’re holding one is to try and use it as a hammer. If the thing you’re hitting it with gets further away from you then it’s a hammer-ignisedimorphic, if the rock breaks in your hand it’s one of the other boring types.

We made this discovery while talking to one half (Edd) of the brand for makers, growers and fixers - Tinker and Fix.

Tune in for discussions on where it began with grandads tool roll, where it is with ruthless stock choices, and where it’s headed with an emphasis on hand crafted, long lasting goods.
