On September 15, 2018, 23-year-old National Guardsman Tyler Smith was found dead, face-down in a drainage ditch, after a night of bar hopping with friends in Galesburg, IL. The local police believe Tyler suffered an accidental drowning and they closed the case almost immediately. But Tyler’s parents are unconvinced his death was the result of an accident.
