Description

Episode 20 of Burnout Psychology Support (formerly known as BURNOUT: A Different Kind of GAP Year) Podcast brings you the burnout to recovery experience of Population Health Lead Eva James.

Sitting down with Eva to hear about her burnout and recovery experience was a pleasure. Like me, she took a 'time-out' (aka GAP) from her work to help support her health and well-being. However, unlike me, her experience was compounded by grief and loss.

Eva shares her signs that she was burning out, how she decided to prioritise her care (which wasn't easy) and how she went from feeling disconnected from herself, others, work, and life to reconnected.

I believe it is through sharing experiences that we learn, grow and connect.
