The Business of the New York City Marathon - In this episode of ‘Run The Business’ Ant meets with Kerin Hempel, CEO of ‘New York Road Runners’ the organization responsible for delivering the New York City Marathon. She talks about her first memories of running, chasing around the schoolyard, running when traveling, as well as the parallels between being a runner and an executive when it comes to goal setting and resilience.
With an MBA from Harvard Business School it’s not surprising that in addition to her role as CEO at New York Road Runners, Kerin is also a successful business advisor, consultant and strategist for many different companies. She’s worked across finance, sports, entertainment, health & wellness and public policy.
