A discussion on the 1871 Paris Commune with...
Sandra Bloodworth - Australian labour historian and contributor to "The Paris Commune, An Ode To Emancipation."
The Paris Commune if 1871 is still celebrated and studied throughout the world as one of the first working-class attempts at emancipation, direct democracy and social change, with reforms introduced that still have not been won in many countries today.
This session looks how the Commune continues to inspire today as we struggle for a better future.
