- Do fun things together
- Tee Time vs Tea Time
- Pray for one another…
- this one (for me) does not come easy
- What’s your love language
- Hold hands (touch / physical intimacy)
- Time
- Gifts
- Acts of service
- Words of affirmation
- Learn to say these two things:
- Do you need me to just listen or do you need me to fix it?
- Will you forgive me?
- Forgive fast, frequently & faithfully
- Be around other HEALTHY marriages
- Serve together (discover how God has gifted your spouse)
DON’T DO’s
- Don’t leave the lid up
- Don’t intentionally irritate your spouse (Truvia packets 🤣 and drive-by’s)
- Be a sweety and wipe the seaty
- Don’t hang out with people who suck the life out of you and leave you with nothing left for when you get home.
- Don’t hold grudges
- Don’t let the sun go down on your anger
- Don’t Give Up
