In Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus faces an onslaught of temptation from our common enemy...the devil... who prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. However... Jesus did not succumb to this attack. He survived, He evaded, He resisted and He escaped. HOW?
Hint... To survive, evade, resist and escape temptation...there's only ONE thing you must do. JUST ONE.
It's not easy... you have to "embrace the suck" of temptation without giving in.
It's not easy... you have to be disciplined in your pursuit of God.
It's not easy... but you can survive... you can evade... you can fight... you can escape!
