Toronto singer/songwriter Leila Dey, performs R&B. Pulling from Lauryn Hill, Jazmine Sullivan and H.E.R, Dey’s sound can be described as smooth vocals over minimal-production.
Born in Jamaica, raised in Toronto, Dey enhanced her talent and skills by attending inner city programs in the downtown core. Dey was featured by The Source Magazine, which impressed the likes of Hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg and Ghostface Killah.
