Perfectionists get a bad rap -- they are seen as intense overachievers with negative connotations, especially for women. But psychotherapist Katherine Morgan Schafler seeks to undo that imagery and reframe the idea of perfectionism as an asset that can be harnessed as a personal superpower. In her book, The Perfectionists Guide to Losing Control, she outlined 5 perfectionist archetypes and in this episode she explains the ways we can normalize our perfectionism to turn a negative into a way to live with authenticity and power.
