For Episode 13 of PAPYRUS HOPECAST we are joined by Millie, Mark and Grace from BAFTA Award-winning animation studio, Blue Zoo. On World Suicide Prevention Day, we will be releasing an animation created by Blue Zoo, called ‘Sinking Feeling’. Sinking Feeling explores themes such as isolation, loneliness and suicidal thoughts, highlighting the importance of reaching out to support those around you.
We caught up with the team from Blue zoo earlier this week via Zoom to learn more about the incredible animation they have created and the processes behind the masterpiece. In this podcast we discuss how the animation came about, the process of creating the animation including stylistic choices, the themes and messages explored in the animation and why creating this animation means so much to those involved at Blue Zoo.
