Rod Backus has not been attending at The Vine Church for very long, but he has become an encouraging joyful presence in the short time he has been at the church. But as Rod tells in this episode, he has not always had that joy or encouragement. Warren interviews Rod about his journey through alcoholism, being a "dry drunk," and looking for God in all the wrong places, before coming to know the one true God.
