Description

In conjunction with our upcoming sermon series, today’s podcast is an introductory look at the book of Leviticus. Leviticus is an oft overlooked book full of insight into God, his love for his people and his desire for people to live in holy community with him and each other. Today Warren Gray, Rachel Tate Yattor and Terry Rascoe discuss the importance of Leviticus within the Jewish scriptures and thought, potential misnomers about the book and even its title, and more. Along the way Warren and Rachel also reveal their lack of knowledge of a prominent American film maker, and Terry calls out the elephant in the room related to the name of our upcoming sermon series — all while beginning to think about the question “Why is it important for us to study this book?”
