Rachel and Stephanie welcome Ariel Okin, the founder of Ariel Okin Interiors, a New York based interior design firm specializing in luxury projects, to the podcast. Ariel's style can be interpreted as traditional with a twist. Her firm has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, The Wall Street Journal among others. Ariel's work for Lena Dunham's West Village home graced the cover of Domino. She also designed the NYC Headquarters for Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP!
Ariel joins Life's Accessories, The Podcast to talk about mixing the old with the new as she did with her beloved Bubbe Annie's brooch that she wore pinned to her wedding veil. Ariel talks about her connection to the very special line of strong women in her family through the brooch, and other meaningful items. Rachel and Stephanie decide to join forces with Ariel to bring brooches back in style (all the royals seem to be wearing them these days!) The trio wonders if you say brooch or brooch? Ariel reveals what is trending these days in the interior design world and even shares her thoughts on the controversial belt bag.
