Welcome to Episode 335 of the Total Saints Podcast – your home for all things Southampton Football Club!
Plenty to cover this week:
- Derby Review – A 1–1 draw at Pride Park, and another frustrating afternoon for Will Still’s Saints. Ross Stewart limped off again, and despite taking an early lead through Adam Armstrong, Saints failed to build on it. With just one shot on target after the break, are we really improving – or just standing still?
- Sheffield United Review – A scrappy 2–1 win on the road. Ross Stewart’s brace sealed the points, but it was far from comfortable. Did Saints finally turn a corner, or did they just get away with one?
- Will Still Discussion – Four points from six looks good on paper, but has the mood really lifted? With the international break ahead, we ask whether Saints are still searching for their identity – and if patience is starting to wear thin.
- Player of the Week – After Nathan Wood took the honours last week, who stood out this time? Alex McCarthy, Ross Stewart, Adam Armstrong, and Wood himself all in contention.
- Saints Women & U21s – Wins all round. The Women beat Birmingham 2–1 away (Primus and Peplow on target), while the U21s thrashed Derby 4–1 to stay unbeaten in Premier League 2.
