Previously I was operations/business manager of McKinsey's European Healthcare Practice for 3 years, responsible for making sure we had a robust strategy, and for the implementation of it.
I spent 10 years consulting at McKinsey, where I focused primarily on strategy and healthcare - but also worked in organsational capability building, operational improvement, and the energy sector - with exposure to most other functions and sectors.
At age 23, I founded and ran my own business-in-Asia support business, which led its field in Ireland and served the country's biggest companies and Government, and employed 3 people full-time plus 15 part-time.
I hold a first-class honours degree (first in class) in Engineering from University College Dublin.
