On this episode Rebecca and I talk about the paranormal as a field of study, from ghosts to cryptids, to witches, to mythic figures, legends, beasts, and lore. We want to try to separate fact from fiction, while maintaining our appreciation for cultural heritages, multiculturalism, and respecting legends and lore, while trying to figure out how ancient lore came to be, and to what extent legends and lore is based in reality, and to what extent cultures borrow from lore to create urban legends, myths, and ancient beliefs in the supernatural and cryptids. Lastly. we'll talk about the paranormal phenomenon and zeitgeist as an industry. and what the implications might be of oversaturation in our public arena.
